About

I am a twenty-something married man, living the dream in Central Maine. I refer to my wife as The Boss, because she truly is the one who wears the pants in our relationship. We've been married for three years, and we currently have no children or pets (which is something The Boss would like to see change in the near future).

I'm a middle child, I am left handed, and I have a medical condition caused by an extra piece of grey matter in my brain. I love all things Star Wars, and music is a major lifeline for me. I own too many movies and can quote too much from too many of them. Weird Al is my homeboy, and Stephen King is my hero. I am a musician and composer, a writer and a photographer, a joker and sometimes the Space Cowboy. I really love your peaches and I want to shake your tree, but that is neither here nor there.

I used to work from home, which meant I would spend loads of time in front of the computer. I started this blog to help pass the time, and it has since developed into something much greater than I ever imagined. It's taken a lot of work to get there, but don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I like everything just the way it is.

I am heavily sarcastic, and while I don't swear an awful lot here, I curse like a fucking sailor in real life. My day-to-day life is exceedingly boring, yet I am almost never at a loss for things to write about. You can find me writing almost exclusively here, and also on my short fiction blog, Fiction 500. I've also been a featured writer on TheFatherLife.com with my article "I'm Not Ready To Be A Dad". You can find that article by clicking here.

If this is your first time here, try these reader favorites, in which I...

... get drunk on whiskey.
... get a papercut on my balls.
... talk with Mother Nature.
... think I need an exorcism.
... make out with Scarlett Johannson.
... talk about my morning wood.
... am full of resolve.
... get a little sappy.
... need thicker walls.
... am poetic.
... struggle with a tough situation.
... hear more than I wanted.
... employ expert decision-making skills.
