As I am fond of doing, I checked my Google Analytics account this afternoon to see what the most recent search strings were. I was all set to compile some of the funniest ones into a post, when I came upon this wonderful gem:
"do you have you have good looks to be a badass?"
No, my friend. You don't have to have good looks to be a badass, but it would probably help. I mean, I'm not the most handsome guy out there, but I seem to pull it off.
The turning point for me was when I finally donated my Steve Urkel-based wardrobe to Goodwill.
P.S. Employee No 3699 has done it. Heather's doing it. I'm going to do it, too. What am I giving away? Stay tuned to find out.

Ooooh, a give-away! What will it be? How about a snazzy blog makeover??? And can you accidentally, on purpose, pick me???
I haven't checked all of your archives, but I think the closest I've seen to an actual picture was the one of your tattoo. Of course, I take you on your word that it was actually your arm, but you could look exactly like Mr. Urkel and still be a badass to us. Isn't that part of the beauty of blogging?
This is incredibly exciting. I might copy you in the very near future. Of course, I will have to give something away that goes with the personality of my blog. Participants beware.
BTW - I won't tell anyone that we've worked it out behind the scenes and I've already been chosen as the winner. We'll let them have their fun. :)
I also think you're cool - even if you did dress like Steve Urkel (I had to look him up on Wikapedia).
NOT that I'm trying to butter you up or anything like that sweetie;-)
xxx
Now that is hilarious!
Employee No 3699: Accidentally and on purpose? I'll try!
Enthalpy Mama: I posted a fairly recent picture of myself on the entry that I linked to right at the first part of this entry. And the tattoo picture was my actual arm. =)
Cape Cod Gal: I'm trying not to think of what first came to mind when thinking of what a "Cape Cod Gal" give-away would be.
Scatterbrain: Butter me up! Bribery is a very effective form of persuasion.
Jen W: I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It's also funny that someone asked a search engine a direct question, as if they expected a "Yes/No" response.
Ooohhh! A give away, I hope it is something appropriately geeky with a touch of badass, or did I want badass with a touch of geek? hmmm....
Good looks come form the inside. If you are appropriately badass, IMHO, you'll drool the good looks! :-)
I am waiting with baited breath for the give away.
Steve Urkel was the man. I don't see why you would want to give up the suspenders and red framed glasses.
Umm, if there's going to be any contest fixing shenanigans round here, it's got to go my way, my dear. Who's your buddy?
Moonspun: I'll try to make it about 50% Badass and 50% Geek... Just to make it fair.
Kat: I only gave up the suspenders and the glasses because I couldn't quite master the "Did I do that?" catch phrase. Otherwise, I'd still be dressed like him.
Lola: There won't be any shenanigans, don't worry, but I'm not above bribery.
Hey now! I want one of those blog makeovers too!!!!!! I need something green...and celtic themed with dragonflies.....or else just skulls.....or else just anything less blah.
I WANT STUFF. GIMMIE STUFF NOW. IT BETTER BE AWESOME STUFF.
I kid, I kid.
Heather: How about dragonfly skulls? That'd be unique.
Aunt Becky: Oh, it will be awesome. Just not really tangible.
