It seems every where I went to on the Internet today, everyone was talking about the economy or the Vice Presidential debate that was on TV last night. I know these are important things and both deserve equal discussion, but is anyone else tired of hearing about it? But I digress.
I spent a little more time than I should have this afternoon over at
MagneticPoetry again, and made another short poem in hopes of making you all laugh a bit, and to put a little pep in your step as you finish off your Friday afternoon...
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

We work in the same office, huh?
I should let you know that I'm copying you on the contest idea. I just have to think of a prize that isn't too over the top. I've got Fancy Pants working overtime on it and I should have it ready for next week.
Imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery. :) (Also, I love the idea)
I'm so tired of hearing about politics I could weep.
Great poem!
I spent my afternoon reading about the atomic bomb for a grad school essay...at work! :-)
ok so. idk if you've heard this song, but I like it. And I was looking for the official video for it, but I found this amazing... dance thing.

Cape Cod Gal: We must, yes. Feel free to borrow the idea, and also feel free to tell 'em where you got it.
Aunt Becky: Me, too. I don't think it's over just yet, so I'll bring the Kleenex.
Moonspun: Hopefully they don't track your internet history... Don't want them to think you're a disgruntled employee!
Rachel: I have heard the song before (The Boss used to be hooked on the song), but I'd never seen the video. Thanks for sharing!
Look, it's only once every four years and it'll be over in a month. I think we can all make it through with a slice of pumpkin cheesecake and a pair of ear plugs.
I'm so going to check out magnetic poetry- right now!
Wahahaha! Good stuff. We had a magnetic poetry board at work until our boss stopped to look at it one day and saw all the dirty sayings we had written. No worries. We've found other things to take up our nonproductivity.
Heather: I know, I know. I'm just tired of hearing about it is all.
Jen W: It's a blast!
Jenboglass: What is a job if there isn't some degree of nonproductivity?
You're right Badass. Even in England you can't switch on the radio, tv or read a newspaper without a mention - and we have enough awful problems of our own.
Your fun competition gives us an alternative focal point.
Hey, at least I make my political rants funny, man! I'm probably not going to stop either unless your party wins and I drop off the face of the earth and Sus makes a milk carton for me, so take a pill before you stop by for the next few weeks.
Scatterbrain: 'Tis the season, though. It gets this way every couple of years, I suppose.
Lola: Oh, I'm not asking anyone to stop. I wasn't exactly referring to blogs, when I said "everyone" was talking about it. It's more or less the various news sites.
See I don't have TV, so I couldn't watch the VP debate, and I don't have any money or assets of any kind, so I'm no worse off now than I was before the economy died, so both are sort of not things I CAN talk about.
