The Boss and I are moving this month.
We've moved every six months for the past two years.
We have too much crap.
I hate moving.
Nothing has been packed up yet.
We have two couches and only enough room for one.
We have entire closets full of shit that need to be moved.
I hate moving.
I'll be spending more on gas for my truck than I'll spend on food this week.
All of our heaviest possessions will need to be lifted up to the second floor via rope and pulley.
At least the new place has a dishwasher.
I hate moving.
Moving while getting over a cold should be fun.
I won't be around much until Wednesday.
I'm stocking up on rum and Advil.
Did I mention I hate moving?

If you hate it, why are you doing it? Again even. I have lived increasingly longer in the places I move to each time. This time it's been 3 1/2 years, the place before that, 3 years. But before that, I moved 8 times in about a ten years span. Lost stuff every time.
I hate moving. Like burning. I've moved something like 10 times in the past four years. It's always wonderful reasoning, but shit. It sucks.
I am so glad I have movers coming to get my stuff. I hate moving, but being military...we do it quite often. Good luck on your move and may your back stay strong and your mind stay sane.

When I was single I moved more times than I could possibly count.

Well, I have only moved once when I was seven, which means I did nothing; once when I moved in with my boyfriend, which means I took next to nothing, and then the big move when we moved here. Moving does suck, but doing dishes by hand day after day sucks every day!

Moonspun: We're moving because heat isn't included in our current place, which is something we thought we could afford before the price doubled a month ago.
Lola: Knowing that I'll get a dishwasher and on-site laundry is a huge motivator for me.
I've only had to move 3 times: outta my parents house, outta my insane roommates house, and outta my very own lakeside apartment to my boyfriends house which is now my house 'cause I married the boyfriend. I have moving!!!
So what you're saying is that you LOVE to move? You're crazy. Moving sucks.
So, how do you feel about moving? lol And if you have rum, why do you need Advil?

badass - I'm sorry to hear you are moving, although I do think you will appreciate the dishwasher. Actually, I'm also bummed that I missed sending in my picture for your contest. I should send it to you anyhow. My recommendation is to throw as much stuff away as possible. Its just stuff.
Moving blows. But so does high heating prices and off-site laundry. Win some, lose some.
Heat included, dishwasher and on site laundry all sound like good reasons to move.
Sorry your Halloween weekend is going to be spent moving.
