It's been sixteen months since I wrote the post where I talked about how I'm not ready to be a dad. A lot has happened and a lot has changed during those sixteen months, least of which my alleged "readiness" to become a father, but sometimes you just need to jump in with both feet and hope for the best.
Can't wait to meet you, baby Badass. See you sometime in April.

I know you will be a Badass Dad to Baby Badass. Something in life that is beautiful (but quite hard to do) is giving up on being perfect and being yourself. I am my harshest critic, so I would know. Nobody can be perfect, but you will be an amazing dad just the way you are.

Congrats! My husband and I are 18wks, 3 days along (due near the end of February) with our little baby, which we just found out on Monday is a little boy!
